HarderUBarter ONLY connects people. We are NOT liable for, involved in, or in any way connected to the quality of work, work ethic, conduct, safety, timeliness, payment, or outcome of any job, service, or help arranged through this platform. Our role ends at the connection and acceptance of a job and the agreed trade. Everything beyond that point is strictly between the two parties. By using the Jobs board you accept full responsibility for vetting who you work with.
1. What we are
HarderUBarter is a barter connection platform. We provide listings, matching, and chat. We are not a party to any trade, we do not own, inspect, warehouse, or ship any item, and we do not guarantee the condition, authenticity, legality, or value of anything traded.
Users are responsible for complying with all applicable state, local, and federal laws for every trade.
2. Motors section (Central Ohio)
Motors listings are anonymous until a trade is accepted, require identity verification, and must include a truthful Kelley Blue Book value with screenshot proof. Misrepresenting KBB value is grounds for a permanent ban.
A commission of 2% of the listed KBB value (minimum $25) applies once a trade is accepted, split equally between both parties. If the trade does not complete, the commission is refunded in full.
Vehicle handoffs and title transfers happen in person at a Central Ohio BMV/DMV location at a time scheduled by our mediator. We facilitate the meetup — we are not a dealer, broker, escrow agent, or party to the sale. Title transfer, taxes, and legal compliance are the traders' responsibility.

3. Identity verification
Motors access requires ID verification (government ID + selfie), reviewed manually. Documents are used only to confirm identity and are never sold or shared. Verification may be revoked for fraud or misconduct.
4. Fees, refunds & charity
General listings: $2 per listing or $20/month unlimited. Fees are non-refundable once a listing is published.
Motors: no listing fee; commission per Section 2, refundable if the trade doesn't complete.
Jobs board: free to post.
25% of all subscription revenue goes to a rotating community-voted charity. Optional donations go 100% to the current charity.
5. Conduct, strikes & bans
Attempting to move trades off-platform to dodge commission, failing to ship, or misrepresenting items earns strikes. Three strikes = permanent ban. We may remove any listing or account at our discretion to protect the community.
THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY OHIO LAW, HARDERUBARTER AND ITS OWNER SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING FROM ANY TRADE, JOB, OR USE OF THE PLATFORM.
